Seasonal service

Off before the ice. Back up before the boats.

We remove and install boat lift canopies. The canvas comes down in the fall, hardware goes in a labeled bag, and the same cover goes back on the frame in the spring.

Fall

Take it down

Ice and wet snow tear a canopy that stays up all winter. We unlace it from the lift, keep the bows and straps together, and fold the canvas so it does not mildew in a heap.

  • Hardware labeled and bagged with the canopy
  • Frame, bunks, and motor left in place
  • Optional haul-away for dry winter storage

Spring

Hang it again

When the ice is gone, we bring the canopy back to the same lift, set the tension, and walk the fit with you before the boat goes on.

  • Stored canopy or one you just bought
  • Re-lace and re-tension included in the hang
  • A repair visit if the canvas needs a patch first

How a visit works

You tell us the lake and how many canopies. We confirm a weather window, then the crew shows up.

01

Pick the season

Fall removal, spring install, or both as a pair. Add storage if you do not have a dry place for the canvas.

02

Pay or send a request

PayPal takes the visit fee. If the lift is odd — extra wide, damaged bows, a new canopy still in the box — send a request and we will answer before you pay.

03

We work the frame

The canopy comes off or goes on. We do not pull the lift, and we do not go out on unsafe ice or a dock that will not hold the crew.

Prices per canopy

The visit fee is the price below. Fabric and replacement parts are separate, and only after you approve them.

These prices are for a standard boat lift canopy the crew can reach from the dock. Tell us on the booking form if the lift is shared, the canopy is still new in a box, or last year’s hardware is missing.
